Massage Therapist
We are looking for the ideal massage therapist to join our team. We are open Wednesday - Sunday (Tuesdays are an option). Volume and days are based on appointments.

The Salt Spa of Asheville has been open since 2011 as the first salt therapy spa in North Carolina. We offer mostly private salt spa sessions in a therapeutic and very peaceful and relaxing setting.
We provide a variety of massage modalities including custom therapeutic massages, deep tissue, hot salt stone, prenatal. Any experience in additional therapies would be great, including cranio-sacral therapy or reflexology.
Compensation starting at $50 - $70/60 min massage plus 100% gratuity.

FILLED Experienced Spa Front Desk Assistant Manager and Coordinator - Part time: Wednesday - Sunday

We are looking for an experienced spa front desk coordinator and assistant manager to work hand in hand with owner/manager, who embraces and supports our vision and purpose of serving our guests in the most ethical, respectful and caring way. We imagine someone who is kindhearted, friendly, focused and a strong multi-tasker, outgoing and sensitive to the needs of our guests. Understanding and experience of living a healthy lifestyle is important for this position. Experience or knowledge about salt therapy is a plus. We are interested in a long-term team member.
This position requires experience or knowledge in the spa and wellness industry.
The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to
- all front-end responsibilities
- checking our guests in and out, getting guests situated and coordinating spa packages
- making reservations and explaining our services,
- giving introductions,
- learning about our unique services and educating our guests,
- opening and closing procedures as well as keeping our spa clean, etc.
- working independently
We are looking for an individual who
- is exceptionally friendly, honest, kind, grounded, mature and calm
- is focused and has multitasking skills,
- has experience with scheduling software,
- is computer literate,
-has some weekend availability
- has service-oriented customer skills and a desire to be part of a harmonious small team
- is looking for a long-term position
- has some marketing experience
This is a part time position. Work hours are based on our schedule, vary day to day and can be between 2 and 6 hours/day. Flexibility is therefore important.
During training, pay is $14/hour. After completion of training, pay will be $20/hour.
We specialize in salt therapy, massages, frequency and other therapeutic and relaxation services.
We are a small family owned spa and our team members work closely together, so the right fit is very important to us.
